حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بِرْذَوْنٍ عَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ طَرْفُهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتِيهِ ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام.

Aisha reported that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) riding a mule, wearing a turban whose end hung between his shoulders. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about him, and he said, "Did you see him? That was Gabriel, peace be upon him."
