حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي بُدِئَ فِيهِ فَقُلْتُ وَا رَأْسَاهْ فَقَالَ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ وَأَنَا حَيٌّ فَهَيَّأْتُكِ وَدَفَنْتُكِ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ غَيْرَى كَأَنِّي بِكَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عَرُوسًا بِبَعْضِ نِسَائِكَ قَالَ وَأَنَا وَا رَأْسَاهْ ادْعُوا إِلَيَّ أَبَاكِ وَأَخَاكِ حَتَّى أَكْتُبَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ كِتَابًا فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَقُولَ قَائِلٌ وَيَتَمَنَّى مُتَمَنٍّ أَنَا أَوْلَى وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا أَبَا بَكْرٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to me on the day his illness began, and I said, "Oh, my head!" He said, "I would have liked that to happen while I was still alive, so that I could prepare you and bury you." She said: I said, "That would be [showing] jealousy! It is as if I can see you, on that very day, married to one of your other wives." He said, "Rather it is I who say, 'Oh, my head!' Call to me your father and your brother, so that I may write a document for Abu Bakr, for I fear someone might say or wish, 'I am more entitled,' while Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and the believers refuse anyone but Abu Bakr."
