حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ وَهِمَ عُمَرُ إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ يُتَحَرَّى طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ وَغُرُوبُهَا.

Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Abdullah ibn Tawus told me, from his father, from Aisha, who said: 'Umar was mistaken; the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, only forbade praying at the time when one deliberately seeks out sunrise and sunset.'
