Affan told us: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us: al-Hajjaj ibn Artaa told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha - she said, and Makhul also told me the same - both said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Whatever a woman's private parts are made lawful by, of dower or a waiting period, that belongs to her. And whatever her father, brother, or guardian is honored with after the marriage contract, that belongs to him. And the most deserving of a man's honoring are his daughter and his sister.'
