Mu'awiyah told us: Za'idah told us: Mansur told us, from Ibrahim, who said: I said to al-Aswad, "Did you ask the Mother of the Believers, A'ishah, about what is disliked to be used for steeping?" He said, "Yes. I said to her: O Mother of the Believers, what is disliked to be steeped in?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the household from gourds and pitch-lined vessels."
