حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَالْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتُ الْمِسْوَرِ قَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتِ الْمِسْوَرِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ فَقَسَمَهُ فِي فُقَرَاءِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَفِي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَأُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ الْمِسْوَرُ فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِنَصِيبِهَا فَقَالَتْ مَنْ أَرْسَلَ بِهَذَا فَقُلْتُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَتْ أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَقَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ سَقَى اللَّهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id told us: Abdullah ibn Ja'far and al-Khuza'i told us - Abdullah ibn Ja'far said: Umm Bakr bint al-Miswar told us - al-Khuza'i said, from Umm Bakr bint al-Miswar - that Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf sold some land of his to Uthman ibn Affan for forty thousand dinars, and he distributed it among the poor of Banu Zuhrah, among the Emigrants, and among the Mothers of the Believers. Al-Miswar said: I brought A'ishah her share, and she said: "Who sent this?" I said: "Abd al-Rahman." She said: "As for me, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say" - and al-Khuza'i said: the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said - "None will show you tenderness after me except the patient ones. May Allah give Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf to drink from the fountain of Salsabil in Paradise."
