حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يُقْبَضْ نَبِيٌّ قَطُّ حَتَّى يَرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ ثُمَّ يَحْيَا فَلَمَّا اشْتَكَى وَحَضَرَهُ الْقَبْضُ وَرَأْسُهُ عَلَى فَخْذِ عَائِشَةَ غُشِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ شَخَصَ بَصَرُهُ نَحْوَ سَقْفِ الْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يُحَدِّثُنَا وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Yaman told us: Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Urwah ibn al-Zubayr said: A'isha said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was in good health, used to say: "No prophet has ever died without first being shown his place in Paradise, and then given the choice." Then when he became ill and death approached him, with his head on A'isha's lap, he fell unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he fixed his gaze toward the ceiling of the room and said: "O Allah, the Most Exalted Companion." A'isha said: So I said, "This is indeed the account he used to relate to us while he was in good health."
