حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَمُرُّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هِلَالٌ وَهِلَالٌ وَهِلَالٌ مَا يُوقَدُ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِ نَارٌ قُلْتُ يَا خَالَةُ عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعِيشُونَ قَالَتْ عَلَى الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ التَّمْرِ وَالْمَاءِ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَمُرُّ بِنَا هِلَالٌ وَهِلَالٌ مَا يُوقَدُ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَارٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا خَالَةُ مِثْلَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Ayyash and Husayn ibn Muhammad told us: Muhammad ibn Mutarrif told us: Abu Hazim told us — Husayn said: from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr — from A'isha, who said: A new moon would pass, then another, then another, over the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, without a fire being kindled in any of his houses. I said, "O Aunt, on what did you subsist?" She said: "On the two black things — dates and water." Husayn said: he heard A'isha say: "A new moon would pass over us, then another, without a fire being kindled in any of the houses of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." So I said, "O Aunt" — the same.
