حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْتَهِدُ فِي الْعَشْرِ مَا لَا يَجْتَهِدُ فِي غَيْرِهِ.

Affan told us: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us: al-Hasan ibn Ubaydullah told us: Ibrahim told us, from al-Aswad ibn Yazid, from A'isha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to exert himself during the last ten in a way he did not exert himself at any other time.
