حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ كَانَ لَنَا سِتْرٌ فِيهِ تِمْثَالُ طَيْرٍ قَالَتْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَوِّلِيهِ فَإِنِّي إِذَا رَأَيْتُهُ ذَكَرْتُ الدُّنْيَا وَكَانَتْ لَنَا قَطِيفَةٌ نَلْبَسُهَا يَقُولُ عَلَمُهَا حَرِيرٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha said: "We had a curtain with the image of a bird." She said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Remove it, for when I see it, I am reminded of the worldly life.' We had a blanket that we used to wear, and its markings were said to be of silk."
