حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا لَيْسَ أَحْفَظُهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْنَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَخْبِرِينَا عَنْ مَرَضِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ اشْتَكَى فَجَعَلَ يَنْفُثُ فَجَعَلْنَا نُشَبِّهُ نَفْثَهُ نَفْثَ آكِلِ الزَّبِيبِ وَكَانَ يَدُورُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فَلَمَّا اشْتَكَى شَكْوَاهُ اسْتَأْذَنَهُنَّ أَنَّ يَكُونَ فِي بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ وَيَدُرْنَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَذِنَّ لَهُ فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَيْهِمَا أَحَدُهُمَا عَبَّاسٌ وَرِجْلَاهُ تَخُطَّانِ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَفَمَا أَخْبَرَتْكَ مَنْ الْآخَرُ قَالَ لَا قَالَ هُوَ عَلِيٌّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha narrated about the illness of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). She said: "He fell ill and began to blow (on himself for healing). We would compare his blowing to that of one eating raisins. He used to visit his wives in turn, but when his illness became severe, he asked their permission to stay in Aisha's house and they would visit him. They granted him permission. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered supported by two men, leaning on them, one of whom was al-Abbas, with his feet dragging on the ground. Ibn Abbas said: 'Did she not tell you who the other was?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'It was Ali.'"
