حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَ عُذْرِي مِنْ السَّمَاءِ جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَنِي بِذَلِكَ فَقُلْتُ نَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا نَحْمَدُكَ.

Hushaym told us, saying: Umar b. Abi Salamah b. Abd al-Rahman informed us, from his father, from Aishah, who said: When my exoneration came down from the heavens, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and informed me of that. I said, "We praise Allah, Mighty and Majestic — we do not praise you."
