حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زُرَيْقٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي فَزَارَةَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ وَكَانَ ابْنَ عَمِّ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ مَنْ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ لَا مَا أَقَامُوا لَكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ أَلَا وَمَنْ وُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ أَمِيرٌ وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ فَلْيُنْكِرْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْزِعَنَّ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali b. Ishaq told us, saying: Abdullah informed us, saying: Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid b. Jabir informed me, saying: Zurayq, the freed slave of Banu Fazarah, told me, from Muslim b. Qarazah — who was a cousin of Awf b. Malik — who said: I heard Awf b. Malik say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "The best of your leaders are those whom you love and who love you, and for whom you pray and who pray for you; and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you, and whom you curse and who curse you." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not oppose them then?" He said, "No, as long as they establish prayer among you. Indeed, whoever has a ruling authority placed over him and sees him committing an act of disobedience to Allah, let him disapprove of the disobedience to Allah that he commits, but let him not withdraw a hand from obedience."
