حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ كَتَبَ أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ بِلَالٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَسْبِقْنِي بِآمِينَ.

Muhammad bin Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Asim al-Ahwal — Shu'bah said: my father wrote down from Abu Uthman, who said: Bilal said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: Do not precede me in saying Amin.
