حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ صُنِعَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةٌ مَصْلِيَّةٌ فَأُتِيَ بِهَا فَقَالَ لِي يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَنَاوَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَهَلْ لِلشَّاةِ إِلَّا ذِرَاعَانِ فَقَالَ لَوْ سَكَتَّ لَنَاوَلْتَنِي مِنْهَا مَا دَعَوْتُ بِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ الذِّرَاعُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muammal narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Rafi' narrated to me from his paternal aunt, from Abu Rafi', who said: "A roasted sheep was prepared for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and it was brought to him. He said to me, 'O Abu Rafi', hand me the foreleg.' So I handed it to him. Then he said, 'O Abu Rafi', hand me the foreleg.' So I handed it to him. Then he said, 'O Abu Rafi', hand me the foreleg.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, does the sheep have more than two forelegs?' He said, 'Had you kept silent, you would have kept handing me from it whatever I asked for.'" He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was fond of the foreleg.
