حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا وُلِدَ لَهُ غُلَامٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذَ بِبَشَرَةِ وَجْهِهِ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ قَالَ فَنَبَتَتْ شَعَرَةٌ فِي جَبْهَتِهِ كَهَيْئَةِ الْقَوْسِ وَشَبَّ الْغُلَامُ فَلَمَّا كَانَ زَمَنُ الْخَوَارِجِ أَحَبَّهُمْ فَسَقَطَتْ الشَّعَرَةُ عَنْ جَبْهَتِهِ فَأَخَذَهُ أَبُوهُ فَقَيَّدَهُ وَحَبَسَهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَلْحَقَ بِهِمْ قَالَ فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَوَعَظْنَاهُ وَقُلْنَا لَهُ فِيمَا نَقُولُ أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ بَرَكَةَ دَعْوَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ وَقَعَتْ عَنْ جَبْهَتِكَ فَمَا زِلْنَا بِهِ حَتَّى رَجَعَ عَنْ رَأْيِهِمْ فَرَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الشَّعَرَةَ بَعْدُ فِي جَبْهَتِهِ وَتَابَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salama narrated to us from 'Ali ibn Zayd from Abu al-Tufayl, that a man had a son born to him in the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him. He came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who took hold of the skin of his face and prayed for blessing for him. He said: Then a hair grew on his forehead shaped like a bow, and the boy grew up. When the time of the Khawarij came, he came to love them, and the hair fell from his forehead. So his father took him, shackled him, and imprisoned him for fear that he would join them. He said: So we went in to him and admonished him, and we said to him, among what we said, "Do you not see that the blessing of the prayer of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, has fallen away from your forehead?" So we kept at him until he renounced their view, and God restored the hair to his forehead afterward, and he repented.
