حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى الْقَارِئُ أَبُو عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي السَّدِيُّ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ الْقِتْبَانِيِّ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارِ قَالَ فَأَلْقَى لِي وِسَادَةً وَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنَّ أَخِي جِبْرِيلَ قَامَ عَنْ هَذِهِ لَأَلْقَيْتُهَا لَكَ قَالَ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ فَذَكَرْتُ حَدِيثًا حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ أَخِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمَنٍ أَمَّنَ مُؤْمِنًا عَلَى دَمِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا مِنْ الْقَاتِلِ بَرِيءٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Numayr told us: Isa al-Qari, Abu Umar, told us: al-Suddi told me, from Rifa'ah al-Qitbani, who said: I entered upon al-Mukhtar, and he threw down a cushion for me and said: "Were it not that my brother Gabriel had just risen from this, I would have thrown it down for you." He said: I wanted to strike off his neck, but I remembered a hadith that my brother Amr ibn al-Hamiq had related to me, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whichever believer grants a believer safety concerning his blood and then kills him, I am innocent of the killer."
