حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَسْأَلُ رَجُلٌ وَلَهُ أُوقِيَّةٌ أَوْ عَدْلُهَا إِلَّا سَأَلَ إِلْحَافًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated, through a man of Banu Asad, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: he said, "No man asks for charity while he has an uqiyyah [a measure of wealth] or its equivalent, except that he is asking excessively."
