حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنِي لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَاصُّ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِي صِرْمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ حِينَ حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ قَدْ كُنْتُ كَتَمْتُ عَنْكُمْ شَيْئًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنَّكُمْ تُذْنِبُونَ لَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَوْمًا يُذْنِبُونَ فَيَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ishaq ibn Isa narrated to us, Layth narrated to me, Muhammad ibn Qays, the storyteller of Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, narrated to me, from Abu Sirmah, from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari: that he said, when death approached him: I had concealed from you something I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: Were it not that you commit sins, Allah, Blessed and Exalted, would have created a people who sin, so that He might forgive them.
