حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَجْلَحُ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقُولُ ضَرَبَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْثَالًا وَاحِدًا وَثَلَاثَةً وَخَمْسَةً وَسَبْعَةً وَتِسْعَةً وَأَحَدَ عَشَرَ قَالَ فَضَرَبَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا مَثَلًا وَتَرَكَ سَائِرَهَا قَالَ إِنَّ قَوْمًا كَانُوا أَهْلَ ضَعْفٍ وَمَسْكَنَةٍ قَاتَلَهُمْ أَهْلُ تَجَبُّرٍ وَعَدَدٍ فَأَظْهَرَ اللَّهُ أَهْلَ الضَّعْفِ عَلَيْهِمْ فَعَمَدُوا إِلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَاسْتَعْمَلُوهُمْ وَسَلَّطُوهُمْ فَأَسْخَطُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mus'ab ibn Sallam narrated to us, al-Ajlah narrated to us, from Qays ibn Abi Muslim, from Rib'i ibn Hirash, who said: I heard Hudhayfah say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, struck for us parables — one, three, five, seven, nine, and eleven — and he struck for us one parable from among them and left the rest. He said: There was a people who were weak and destitute; a people of tyranny and numbers fought them, and Allah gave the weak people victory over them. So they turned to their enemy, employed them and gave them authority, thereby incurring Allah's wrath upon themselves until the day they meet Him.
