حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ فِي لِسَانِي ذَرَبٌ عَلَى أَهْلِي وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ لَا يَعْدُوهُمْ إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَأَيْنَ أَنْتَ مِنْ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ يَا حُذَيْفَةُ إِنِّي لَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated to us by Waki', who said: It was narrated to us by Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Ubayd ibn al-Mughirah, from Hudhayfah, who said: There was sharpness in my tongue towards my family, and it did not go beyond them to others. I complained of that to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: 'Where do you stand with regard to seeking forgiveness, O Hudhayfah? Indeed I seek Allah's forgiveness a hundred times a day.'
