It was narrated to us by Affan, who said: It was narrated to us by Shu'bah, who said: I asked Sulayman, and he narrated to me from Sa'd ibn Ubaydah, from al-Mustawrid, from Silah ibn Zufar, from Hudhayfah: that he prayed with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he would say in his bowing, "Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent," and in his prostration, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." And he did not pass by a verse of mercy without stopping and asking [for it], nor by a verse of punishment without seeking refuge [from it].
