حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي رِبْعِيَّةُ ابْنَةُ عِيَاضٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ كُلُوا الرُّمَّانَ بِشَحْمِهِ فَإِنَّهُ دِبَاغُ الْمَعِدَةِ.

Sa'id b. Khuthaym Abu Ma'mar al-Hilali told us: My grandmother Rib'iyyah bint 'Iyad al-Kilabiyyah told me, she said: I heard 'Ali say: "Eat pomegranate with its pulp, for it is a tanning agent for the stomach."
