حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ سَافَرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَحِينَ أَقَامَ أَرْبَعًا قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَمَنْ صَلَّى فِي السَّفَرِ أَرْبَعًا كَمَنْ صَلَّى فِي الْحَضَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَمْ تُقْصَرْ الصَّلَاةُ إِلَّا مَرَّةً حَيْثُ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّى النَّاسُ رَكْعَةً رَكْعَةً.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs while traveling and four when at home. Ibn Abbas said: 'Whoever prays four in travel is like one who prays two at home.' He also said: 'The prayer was not shortened except once, when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs and the people prayed one rak'ah each (in the fear prayer).'
