'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us: Ibn Shihab also informed me, from Ibn Buhaynah al-Asadi - and Ibn Bakr said "al-Azdi" - the ally of Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up in the Zuhr prayer while sitting was due upon him (i.e., he stood up omitting the first tashahhud). When he completed his prayer, he prostrated two prostrations while sitting, before giving the taslim, saying "Allahu Akbar" at each prostration, and the people prostrated them with him in place of the sitting he had forgotten.
