حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَالْخَنْدَقِ وَهُمْ يَحْفِرُونَ وَنَحْنُ نَنْقُلُ التُّرَابَ عَلَى أَكْتَافِنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا عَيْشَ إِلَّا عَيْشُ الْآخِرَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us: Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, from his father, from Sahl ibn Sa'd, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at the Trench while they were digging, and we were carrying the dirt on our shoulders. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Allah, there is no true life except the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Emigrants and the Helpers.
