Ya'mar - meaning Ibn Bishr - told us, Abdullah informed us, Sufyan informed us, from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yasaf, from Abu al-Muthanna al-Himsi, from Abu Ubayy, the son of the wife of Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, "O people, there will come rulers who will be occupied by matters, so that they do not pray the prayer at its appointed time; so pray the prayer at its appointed time." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall we then pray with them?" He said, "Yes." Abdullah said: My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said, "This is the correct version." Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, and he related it, saying: from the son of the wife of Ubadah, from Ubadah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it.
