Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us: Umara — that is, Ibn Zadhan — narrated to us: Abu Ghalib narrated to me, from Abu Umama, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray Witr with nine rak'ahs; then when he grew heavier in body and gained more flesh, he prayed Witr with seven, and prayed two rak'ahs sitting, reciting in them "When the earth is shaken" and "Say, O disbelievers."
