حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السِّيلَحِينِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَتَحْتَ رَاحِلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَ قَوْلًا حَسَنًا جَمِيلًا وَكَانَ فِيمَا قَالَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابَيْنِ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَهُ مَا لَنَا وَعَلَيْهِ مَا عَلَيْنَا وَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ وَلَهُ مَا لَنَا وَعَلَيْهِ مَا عَلَيْنَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Ishaq al-Silahini told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, who said: I was indeed beneath the mount of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of the Conquest, and he spoke a fine and beautiful speech, and among what he said was: "Whoever embraces Islam from among the People of the Two Scriptures will have his reward twice over, and will have what we have and be liable for what we are liable for; and whoever embraces Islam from among the polytheists will have his reward, and will have what we have and be liable for what we are liable for."
