حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ فِي النَّوْمِ كَأَنِّي مُسْتَيْقِظٌ أَرَى رَجُلًا نَزَلَ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ عَلَيْهِ بُرْدَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ نَزَلَ عَلَى جِذْمِ حَائِطٍ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَذَّنَ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى ثُمَّ جَلَسَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَقَالَ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى قَالَ نِعْمَ مَا رَأَيْتَ عَلِّمْهَا بِلَالًا قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ قَدْ رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّهُ سَبَقَنِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Abu Bakr — namely Ibn Ayyash — informed us, from al-A'mash, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: A man of the Ansar came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: I saw in a dream as if I were awake, seeing a man descend from the sky wearing two green garments, who came down upon the remains of a wall of Madinah, and gave the call to prayer two by two, then sat, then gave the second call, saying it two by two as well. He said: What you saw is good — teach it to Bilal. Umar said: I saw the same thing, but he beat me to telling it.
