Bahz told us, Hammam told us, Qatadah told us, from Anas: that Mu'adh ibn Jabal told him that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: O Mu'adh ibn Jabal. He said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah, and at your service. He said: No servant bears witness that there is no god but Allah, then dies upon that, except that he enters Paradise. He said: I said: Shall I not tell the people? He said: No, I fear they would come to rely on it alone.
