حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ الْخُزَاعِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قِيلَ وَمَا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قَالَ يُفْتَحُ لَهُ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ مَوْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْضَى عَنْهُ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Zayd b. al-Hubab told us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih told us: 'Abd al-Rahman b. Jubayr b. Nufayr told me, from his father, from 'Amr b. al-Hamiq al-Khuza'i, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He employs him." It was said: "And what does 'He employs him' mean?" He said: "Righteous deeds are opened up for him before his death, until those around him become pleased with him."
