حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَفِينَةَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ضَافَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَصَنَعُوا لَهُ طَعَامًا فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا لَوْ دَعْونَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَكَلَ مَعَنَا فَأَرْسَلُوا إِلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ فَأَخَذَ بِعِضَادَتَيْ الْبَابِ فَإِذَا قِرَامٌ قَدْ ضُرِبَ بِهِ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْبَيْتِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَعَ فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ لِعَلِيٍّ اتْبَعْهُ فَقُلْ لَهُ مَا رَجَعَكَ قَالَ فَتَبِعَهُ فَقَالَ مَا رَجَعَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي أَوْ لَيْسَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتًا مُزَوَّقًا حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ حَدَّثَنِي سَفِينَةُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخِلَافَةُ ثَلَاثُونَ عَامًا ثُمَّ الْمُلْكُ فَذَكَرَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Kamil told us, Hammad — that is, Ibn Salamah — told us, from Sa'id b. Jumhan, who said: I heard Safinah narrating that a man was a guest of 'Ali b. Abi Talib, and they prepared food for him. Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "If only we invited the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to eat with us." So they sent for him, and he came and took hold of the two door-posts, and there was a curtain hung in a corner of the house. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw it, he turned back. Fatimah said to 'Ali: "Follow him and ask him what made him turn back." He said: So he followed him and said: "What made you turn back, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "It is not for me — or 'not for a Prophet' — to enter a house that is decorated." Zayd b. al-Hubab told us: Hammad — that is, Ibn Salamah — told me, from Sa'id b. Jumhan: Safinah Abu 'Abd al-Rahman told me, who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The Caliphate is thirty years, then kingship" — and he mentioned it.
