حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَشْجَعَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُوُفِّيَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ فَتَغَيَّرَ وُجُوهُ النَّاسِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ غَلَّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَفَتَّشْنَا مَتَاعَهُ فَوَجَدْنَا خَرَزًا مِنْ خَرَزِ يَهُودَ مَا يُسَاوِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id ibn Hayyan, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Abu Amrah, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, that a man from Ashja', one of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, died on the day of Khaybar. That was mentioned to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: 'Pray over your companion.' But the faces of the people changed at that. So he said: 'Indeed your companion misappropriated [war booty] in the way of Allah.' So we searched his belongings and found beads from the beads of the Jews not worth two dirhams.
