حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْمَدَرِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُرْقِبُوا فَمَنْ أَرْقَبَ فَسَبِيلُ الْمِيرَاثِ.

Ibrahim ibn Khalid told us: Rabah told us, from Umar ibn Habib, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Tawus, from Hujr al-Madari, from Zayd ibn Thabit, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Do not make ruqba gifts; whoever makes a ruqba gift, it follows the rule of inheritance.'
