حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَدِمَتْ عِيرٌ الْمَدِينَةَ فَاشْتَرَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا فَرَبِحَ أَوَاقِيَّ فَقَسَمَهَا فِي أَرَامِلِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَقَالَ لَا أَشْتَرِي شَيْئًا لَيْسَ عِنْدِي ثَمَنُهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
A trade caravan came to Medina. The Prophet (peace be upon him) bought from it and made a profit of some ounces of gold, which he distributed among the widows of Banu Abd al-Muttalib. Then he said: 'I will not buy anything for which I do not have the price.'
