حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُبَيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا اعْتَزَى فَأَعَضَّهُ أُبَيٌّ بِهَنِ أَبِيهِ فَقَالُوا مَا كُنْتَ فَحَّاشًا قَالَ إِنَّا أُمِرْنَا بِذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Amr ibn al-Abbas al-Bahili told us, Sufyan told us, from Asim, from Abu Uthman, from Ubayy, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man boasted of his lineage in the manner of pre-Islamic days, so Ubayy rebuked him crudely regarding his father. They said, "You were not one given to obscenity." He said, "We were commanded to do that."
