حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا أَوْ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ شَكَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ.

Abdullah narrated to us: Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Razi narrated to us: Abu Abd al-Samad al-Ammi narrated to us: Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr narrated to us from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: I was with my father in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "This religion will continue to be mighty" - or he said "The people will continue to be in good state" (Abu Abd al-Samad was uncertain) - "until twelve caliphs." Then he said a hidden word, so I said to my father, "What did he say?" He said: "All of them are from Quraysh."
