حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ أُرَاهُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِصِيَامِ عَاشُورَاءَ وَيَحُثُّنَا عَلَيْهِ وَيَتَعَاهَدُنَا عِنْدَهُ فَلَمَّا فُرِضَ رَمَضَانُ لَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا وَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهُ وَلَمْ يَتَعَاهَدْنَا عِنْدَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us: Shayban narrated to us - I think - from Ash'ath, from Ja'far ibn Abi Thawr, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to command us to fast Ashura and urge us to it, and would check on us regarding it. Then when Ramadan was made obligatory, he did not command us, nor forbid us from it, nor check on us regarding it.
