Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abd al-Majid al-Thaqafi told us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad, who mentioned a story in which he said: When he arrived, Abdullah was given the choice between thirty thousand and vessels of silver, so he chose the vessels. Then merchants from Darin arrived, and he sold them the vessels at thirteen for every ten. Then he met Abu Bakrah and said: "Do you see how I deceived them?" He said: "How?" So he told him about it. He said: "I firmly resolve upon you - or I adjure you - that you must return it, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbid the like of this."
