Mu'tamir told us, who said: I heard Ibn Abi al-Hakam al-Ghifari say: My grandmother told me, from her father's uncle, Rafi' ibn Amr al-Ghifari, who said: While I was a young boy, I was throwing stones at date palms belonging to the Ansar. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was told: "There is a boy here throwing stones at our palms." So I was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "O boy, why do you throw stones at the palms?" I said: "To eat." He said: "Then do not throw stones at the palms, and eat whatever falls at their base." Then he wiped my head and said: "O Allah, fill his belly."
