حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ عَفَّانُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْكَيِّ فَاكْتَوَيْنَا فَمَا أَفْلَحْنَ وَلَا أَنْجَحْنَ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ فَلَمْ يُفْلِحْنَ وَلَمْ يُنْجِحْنَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd as-Samad and Affan told us, they said: Hammad told us, Abu at-Tayyah told us - Affan said: Abu at-Tayyah informed us - from Mutarrif, from Imran ibn Husayn, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade cauterization, so we were cauterized, but neither did it succeed nor prosper - and Affan said: "it neither succeeded nor prospered."
