حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ جَاءَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَبْشِرُوا قَالُوا بَشَّرْتَنَا فَأَعْطِنَا قَالَ فَقَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ حَيٌّ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اقْبَلُوا الْبُشْرَى إِذْ لَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا بَنُو تَمِيمٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jami ibn Shaddad, from Safwan ibn Muhriz al-Mazini, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: A group from Banu Tamim came to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He said: 'Rejoice!' They said: 'You have given us glad tidings, so give us something.' Then a tribe from Yemen came, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Accept the glad tidings, since Banu Tamim did not accept them.'
