قَالَ وَقَتَلْتُ عَبْدَ الْعُزَّى بْنَ خَطَلٍ وَهُوَ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِسِتْرِ الْكَعْبَةِ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ النَّاسُ آمِنُونَ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ خَطَلٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: And I killed Abd al-Uzza ibn Khatal while he was clinging to the curtain of the Kaaba. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: 'The people are safe except for Abd al-Uzza ibn Khatal.'
