Abd al-Samad told us: My father told us: Muhammad ibn Juhadah told us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan, from Huzayl ibn Shurahbil, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Before the Hour there will be tribulations like patches of dark night; a man will awaken as a believer and become an unbeliever by evening, and awaken as an unbeliever and become a believer by evening. The one sitting during it is better than the one standing, and the one standing is better than the one walking, and the one walking is better than the one running. So break your bows, cut your bowstrings, and strike your swords against rocks. If one of you is entered upon in his house, let him be like the better of the two sons of Adam."
