حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ ثَنَا أَبُو لَيْلَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَن مَزِيدَةَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمِّي كُنْتُ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْكُوفَةِ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ وَعَلَيْنَا أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ قَالَ فَسَمِعَتْهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِصَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ فَصُومُوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus ibn Muhammad told us: Abu Layla Abdullah ibn Maysarah told us, from Mazidah ibn Jabir, who said: My mother said: "I was in the mosque of Kufah during the caliphate of Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, and Abu Musa al-Ash'ari was our governor." She said: I heard him say, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded the fasting of Ashura, so fast it."
