حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُكَاتَبِ يَعْتِقُ مِنْهُ بِقَدْرِ مَا أَدَّى دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ وَبِقَدْرِ مَا رَقَّ مِنْهُ دِيَةَ الْعَبْدِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said regarding the mukatab (slave buying his freedom in installments): "The portion of him that has been freed is given the blood money (diyah) of a free person, and the portion that remains enslaved is given the blood money of a slave."
