Sufyan b. Uyayna told us: Shu'ba al-Kufi told us, who said: We were with Abu Burda b. Abi Musa, and he said, "O my sons, shall I not tell you a hadith my father told me from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said, "Whoever frees a slave, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, frees, for every limb of his, a limb of the freer's from the Fire."
