حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَى الْغَائِطَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَدَعَا بِالطَّعَامِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً فَأُتِيَ بِالطَّعَامِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا تَوَضَّأُ قَالَ لَمْ أُصَلِّ فَأَتَوَضَّأَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he went to relieve himself. Then he came out and food was brought. Someone said: "O Messenger of Allah, will you not perform ablution?" He said: "I am not going to pray, so why should I perform ablution?"
