حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الرَّجُلَ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَأَيُّ ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Mu'awiya narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Shaqiq, from Abu Musa, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a man who fights out of courage, fights out of tribal zeal, and fights to be seen - which of these is in the path of Allah?" He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, may be uppermost, he is in the path of Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
